How we use it

We use your information to price your account, compare supplier offers, respond to your questions, and manage your enrollment if you choose a plan. Bill uploads are used only to understand your usage and rate so we can run accurate comparisons.

What we share

We share your usage details with licensed energy suppliers only as needed to obtain pricing for your account. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone else except the service providers that host our website and forms, or when the law requires it.

Storage and security

Submissions are transmitted securely and stored with our website provider. We keep them only as long as needed to serve you or as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time. Email contact@avenenergy.com or call (512) 855-7945 and we will take care of it.

How long we keep energy bills. We use your uploaded bill only to price your account. We delete bill files from our systems within twelve months after your request is closed, and sooner whenever you ask. To request deletion at any time, email contact@avenenergy.com.

Who processes your information. Our website and forms run on Squarespace, which stores submissions on our behalf. We manage requests and email through Google Workspace. When we price your account, the details needed for quoting are shared with licensed energy suppliers and the procurement platform we use to collect their offers. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics. Our website platform sets the cookies it needs to run the site. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed and how people find us. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting how the site works. If we add other analytics tools, we will disclose them here before they are used.

AI and automated tools. We use software, including artificial intelligence tools, to help build this website and prepare rate comparisons. A licensed person reviews your quote before it reaches you, and no automated decision with legal effect is made about you without human review.

Children. Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

Changes to this policy. If we change this policy, we will update this page with a new date. The English version of this page is the authoritative version.
